Growth Disorder

Growth disorders are problems that prevent children from developing normal height, weight, sexual maturity, or other characteristics. Very slow or very rapid growth can sometimes indicate a problem or disease of the glands. The pituitary gland produces growth hormone, which stimulates the growth of bones and other tissues.
